Weather Radar, taken to the next level
/rad·vi·sor/ An upcoming “extended reality” application for visualizing weather radar in three dimensions by Pantherkitty Software.
Rad, as in “Radar”
Vy, as in visualizer… using “y”, because it just seemed to flow better, pronounced like a long ‘i’)
XR, as in “eXtended Reality”… because endlessly writing “Virtual/Augmented/Mixed-Reality” gets tedious after a while. XR is a nice umbrella acronym.
The name can also be interpreted as the fusion of “Radar” and “Advisor” (hence, the long-i).
Regardless of how you rationalize its pronunciation, the program is going to be very cool.
Our preliminary target platform is likely to be Android (Daydream, Cardboard, and Aryzon) due to hardware availability.
